In order for the characters to be able to start working on the island, it is necessary to settle them in housing. There are two types of buildings: a hut and a house. They can be purchased for coins in the store, in the building tab.

☝️ The hut can accommodate a maximum of two people, and the house - up to three people. There is also a limit on the number of buildings: you can have 4 huts and 2 houses on your island.
