Energy refills automatically after a while. You can boost it in two ways:  

1. Increase your VIP level! Keep an eye on your level by clicking on the pearls or coins in the top right corner.

2. Inhabit the characters and hotel workers! Click on the Island center above to see how many units of energy each inhabited character adds.
